The symbol
We are creating the world's largest football shirt ( http://www.theshirt.no/ opens 20. June 2009 ), a shirt and a symbol that is sewn together by the club signed jerseys. The Shirt symbolise the "football family standing together and not forgetting the small ones"

It's top clubs, lower clubs and fans who signs their own shirts and becomes a part of the the big shirt. The project is tested in the summer 2008 and we have 187 signatures from professional, top, and small clubs. Celebrities from the music- and movie world has also contributed as fans signed on their favourite club shirts. ""The Shirt will be exposed in South Africa during the World Cup 2010.

Take your team shirt.
A old one or a new one.
Sign it.
Let your team mates sign it.
Send it to "The Shirt / Heidenstrom, Haugenbakken 12 B, 3475, Saetre, NORWAY.

Then; spread the word!

Why? (creating the world's largest shirt and symbol)
Because the use of symbols in football is important and widespread. Because the colours and the emblem of a shirt is unifying, and because the world's largest shirt sewn together of signed jerseys, could be internationally known and recognised as a unifying symbol. "together - the football family - we don't forget the small" (read; campaign; Forgetmenot, press conference, www.nrc.no)

Why? (cycle and hitchhike alone through 51 countries)
Because you have to create content and commitment to expose the key issues. Along the way you get time to publish content, and not at least show the will behind the project. This trip is for people who wants to follow the man and to help the man on the bike. A pint of water when he is thirsty, one place to the tent when he should sleep, and a signed shirt to the big shirt. The benefit to those who follow the journey, will be the feeling of participation and ownership. The reward for those who follows is; tips, hints, facts, and stories from countries, cultures, traditions, and people. The trip will prove that that you just need a a bike and a camera to show people how wonderful the football world can be. It is also well known that controlled madness could be content.

Who (NRC)
NRC was chosen by Bjørn because the NRC show themselves as honest and committed, and that the NRC is the last in line for those who have lost everything. NRC displays a climate of cooperation with all organisation that want an improvement, and the NRC is perceived as modern in their behaviour. NRC also applaud all the players who seek improvement, and solutions (Unicef, Red Cross, SAC, MOT, etc) What does a bike, football, and club shirts have in common with refugees? Children who are refugees have a difficult starting point, have small hope for the future. Often they feel that football as a common arena for friendship, fun and dreams. One fact; - The heroes created in Africa today is often football players. Content: Followers of this journey will be able to see that football is a door-opener to friendship, camaraderie and great experiences. Football and its surroundings is the world's largest collection point. We will create a channel, we will create followers of this channel. We have recognised that one must entertain and create interest to get and keep followers to the moment fore those who must not be forgotten.
